Sydney then Geelong then Melbourne

Fri: stayed at Asmah's place at Olympic Park in sydney. went for easy run which i was gasping for air. Swore I was damm unfit. wondered how to run 21km on sun cos asthma was so bad I thought i could not finish it
Sat: in Geelong, out of melbourne(start of great ocean road)i rented a car(toyota camry behind me), drove to Queenscliff. but cloudy skys did not feel worth driving there.
at Queenscliff found this marsh area, was better than the stated lookout
I think this may be still in use, so did not stand around too long

I next drove to barwon heads.

taken from the car. had to drive back to geelong b4 it gets dark. did not know the way but soon figured it out.
Sun: after my run, i grabbed my cam and shot how the route was like.flat, next to the river. i enjoyed it. did 1 hr 45min without training and I can tell u why i ran that well, given my condition. There was this hunky guy that was going at 5min per km pace(hard for me) so i wanted to see him(i mean keep up with him) through the race, so tried to not fall back too much. He kept me going!!!and so happy got to talk to him after the race! but must tell you, this race, i almost missed it cos i drove from my motel, got lost and arrived 2 min b4 the gun went. even then, was looking for safety pins for number tag. then just held it in my hand for the run.
Just checked results: I got 32nd position in Women's Open. yay!
after the race shots. Ran along the barwon river that empties into the ocean. Oh there were 500 participants in this small race.
after that did some walking at Geelong waterfront. lots of these men figures. there were some women with boobs and i saw this guy's wife take a pic of him grabbing the boobs of the wooden figurine!

Met Elaine after her class to eat healthy salad for $5!! I love melb...then we went out for dinner after that at a Vietnamese restaurant
