teaching....Miss Chia

its been less than a week teaching but i am so tired! today was my last day teaching primary 3F and 3D. took pics with both of them.....so cute!

today was mealworm day. I collected the fishtank of mealworms, brought to class and taught about 4 stage insect life cycle. they were so amused with the worms......that when the worms went loose into the classroom, they went searching for it, not paying attention to me:(

took them for pe. realised they LOVE skipping rope. hmm......i must have loved it back then as well.

So for my 3rd pe class of the day, i set up the obstacle course 30min b4 the lesson, even taking up space in the hall that other classes needed. MY 3F class that was having pe with another teacher, saw the game and said mine was more fun than their pe.....i agreed...so proud of myself that after 3 days, i finally came up with a good game. they would take a hockey stick, push the ball through a zig zag of cones, crawl under a hurdle, stnad at the hoop, throw the ball into the basket, pick the ball up, run and jump over the hurdle, then push the ball through the zig zag back to the next person. that was so perfect! my next class, 4G would love me for thisperfect game.....BUT

i soon found out that they were having a 'woman's' talk in the music room and wont be taking my pe:( sat in for the talk. this lady, ex-nurse from WHisper had a power point slide of the woman's vagina, clitoris...etc. ohh....reminded me so much of my days with hilda studying anatomy. kept not wanting to look at that pic. it really funny to see the responses of pri 4 girls. they lady pointed to 2 elevations on the chest and said these are breasts. all the children went:"eewwww!" simultaneously.....

then half way through the talk, a male teacher came in to talk to someone, immediately all of them wanted to chase him out of the door....

and i cant believe that whisper lady was telling them abt UTI(urinary tract infection0) and bisexuality.

i cant get their high pitched voice out of my head..."Miss Chia".....
