Laura and me outside the critical care unit at SGH. Just nearby is this room labelled:" D.O.A"

the other night, while wheeling a patient into the room, I asked the nurse what it stood for. She said, "Dead On Arrival." Its the bid room, where the family will have about 2 hours to view the body, before the body goes to the mortuary. I would hate to step into the mortuary.

So today, was Arthur's last day at SGH. I went down just to see him for the last time, prob in my life:( but i jsut missed him. Laura said she gave him a goodbye hug.......I want to hug him tooo.....sigh.

But today there were so many intersting cases that came in. Laura said it made up for the past few weeks where it was really boring.

so what i am wearing: the comfy pyjamas are really cool....drs wear sneakers in a and e. I do that sometimes. around my neck is my grandma's stethoscope that is still working!, i love the huge pockets where i can stuff my oxford clinical handbook.
