Laura's 2nd last day in Singapore. We went to the Raffles Hotel to drink the Singapore Sling.me to the waiter: how much alcohol is there? i am worried cos i am driving later
waiter: well, depends how much u can hold. so, how much can u normally drink? 1 glass of beer?
me: not even that. i don't drink, if i do, its a sip of beer![at this point, he looked shocked]
waiter: i will dilute the cocktail for you
later.....after paying...
waiter: how, can drive or not
me: sure
waiter: need a glass of water to wash that down?
me: yes, thanks

this is farni. the fren of the guy taking our photo, wanted to be in the picture. totally so un-singaporean. He was looking British. I miss this, the spontaneous poking fun and jokes. and the welcome and farewell hugs and kisses. Yeah, I greeted the girls, some i barely knew, with hugs and kisses on the cheek.
