the weekend

this is Arthur's last week in Singapore. So i organised a movie at the Cathay. He came with his gf, who just flew in from Germany. There was Laura and other German med friends all doing their elective at SGH. I could not believe it....here i am in Singapore, surrounded by many Germans. Reminded me of my times in Newcastle, where I would just mix with the internationals. So after Simpsons movie, we went to Plaza Sing Food court to eat. bought rojak and ice kacang(with durian) for them to try. ok, some did not like durian, saying it tasted like garbage/garlic. yeah, i dont like durian, so could not defend the fruit. In germany, its called "stinky fruit". Was trying to decribe the ingredients and the sauces of rojak, but could not. I am NOT a singaporean.
eating dumpling soup REALLY fast at great world city. went shopping after dinner and I bought a top for my fav skirt passed down from penny to pat, then I stole it from pat. or rather, its on a "loan" till I burst the buckles, then I am in trouble.....
