I LOVE YOU

what i will miss when i leave here-guangzhou

1. Christmas day run- 25 dec
pen,pat and I ran in Yuexiu park. had a few hills, big park with attractions like lakes, zhenhai towers, humongous stadium, lots of "old people doing local exercise" or "local people doing old exercise". Yeah, that is what the tour brochure told us what we would be seeing. no joke, they do everything from Indian dancing, ballroom dancing, walking backwards up the hill, playing ping pon, badminton and a funny racket dance where the aim is not to drop the ball. So we ran in this lovely garden , aka 5 Ram garden., cos there is a statue of 5 rams there, the symbol of guangzhou. and i planned intense 1 hour workout for us. So we did 20min warmup, followed by playing tag, aka fartlek. I would be "IT" and chase after pen and pat till i caught some one and it would go on and on. very,very tiring. then, when pat was IT, she chased after pen and I, pen ran in opp direction, while she nearly caught up with me. I kept running for dear life and laughing at the same time, couldnt breathe well with so much laughter. Then, i hid behind a small leaf. damm obvious, but worth the try. Pat came closer, and i said, "u cant see me, u cant see me"...then she delibitated while joggin on the spot and finally turned round to chase pens. and they sprinted off again....so fun!

next, we did tag while doing hill workout. so we started at diff points on the hill. pen would start at the big tree, which she would reply, " big tree means victory"....omg...and so we chased each other....till the top. when we got tired of hills, we went to the sun-yat sen memorial tower on top of the hill. we started 20 flights of stairs below it and raced stairs to the top....after the 2nd flight, my legs were already cramping.....anyway, it was fun.

then on the way back to the main entrance, pat started singing "den den den den den den den....batman!" with pens. then pen sat byt the chiar and as pat ran by her, singing the batman song, she picked pen up....like picked up another follower!Both then started singing the batman song.

So I said, since we are all part of the batman gang, pat is "phatman", pen is "poppin" and i am "pamguin"....then we race back to main entrance, first one to touch mummy wins points for the lucky draw to win the batmobile....so we raced and raced and sprinted and i did all this with a smile on my race....as pat overtook me, she said, "u can't let a sickie overtake you"(cos she is sick), then scooted away. so i tried hard to catch up but was just laughing too much.

Anyway, to cut the long story short, i touched mummy first and won the batmobile! yay...now i have a bat car....

2. 23 dec tue xiu park run
we ran for an hour through the park and did farlek, but took turns being the leader....reminded me of last time when we were much younger...pat maybe in pri school...then we ea lead the pack(pen pat and I) for 30min round botanic gardens. so that equalled a 90min run.....comes so easy when u are having fun with the bunch.

3. 22 dec Bai Yun Shan(mt)
we walked for many, many hours up the mountain which is 340m above sea level. was famished at the end of it....


but not forgetting pris and Te Li/berry. they are loved too.
