This pic was taken yest at Macritchie before the run. Wei Qiang/Ryan said this was a family photo. Papa Mr Ling, Mama me and our 3 children: Wei Qiang, Darren and Alvin. HAHA.In this era of blogs, u seldom meet the blogger face to face. Sometimes u read random blogs, not seeing the face behind those stories or philosophical words. It felt like a great experience after finally meeting ericA/ericUH and Andy of 07s68. You now see a person rather than the blog page.
Also, another feeling that is so wonderful is how you get to know people better over time. For example, I was looking at the pic I took with the HC cross people last yr after track nats. That was the first time I met them. So did not know alot of their names. They were just jnr trackers to me. But its amazing how now i know all their names plus become friends with them.
Its like how in JC, when we first met our class at the orientation, never would anyone(at that moment) imagine ourselves 5 years down the road. Told Yi Ming, a hwa chong J1, the other day that i met up with my classmates to celebrate a fellow classmate's birthday. He was shocked to hear that we still keep in touch.
Some people's blogs have this "listening to" line. well...
