Monday is my last day teaching PE in HC. I will miss the school! teaching PE is 1000x easier than studying as a student in HC(duh!). Anyway, its been great having lunches with pat, meeting her friends and reliving the past. Memories of my years in HC start with the PE dept toilet. There, 3 times a week, I would shower after my morn run that starts at 5.30am in school. I would hide my bag outside the PE dept and go off for 9km. coming back, i would shower, run for assembly and still be dripping in sweat.
Hearing the National Anthem after going for SEA games now has a different meaning. I remember feeling so patriotic in the Hanoi track stadium after it was played when the throwers won gold medals. I felt, I had to do Singapore proud. So flag raising in school, singing the national anthem is what i associate with winning a gold medal for singapore. After being overseas for many years, I am just too happy to sing the anthem again.
Massage today was good. but what happened after that was not. Went to velocity and spent abt $20 eating fried junk food. So, so disgusted with myself. Felt sick after that too.
Now, i feel old and unmotivated and lazy.....
