met a few first years recently at the lib. wish i could tell them they will be fine, like how my snrs used to say that to me. but from experience, and from knowing the most unexpected person can fail, I cannot safely tell them that.

Today's lecturer was a Greek eye specialist, by the name of Angelo......I guess i love it here where your lecturers are not plain old chinese. The most embarrasing thing happened. I sat infront for his lect. then, was dozing off, even though it was a good lect. After the lect, i went to ask him questions, which he answered. Then, he asked me....."was my lect good?" die larh....he obviously saw me slping.........i said "yes".
