over in Singapore, the unusually high rainfall in the past two weeks has brought about the coldest March since 1974. Average temperature for the month is a cool 25.6 deg celsius - the coldest in 74 years.

All parks closed and trains ordered to slow down due to fears rail lines could buckle in the extreme heat.
