I got 40min left before 9am, where James picks us up to drive to hospital for lectures on Gout......I really want to skip it but Dr Major will wonder where I am(I have portrayed to him that i am an eager student.....). So funny...just now, when I was typing elevated ESR in Rheumatoid arthritis, I instictively typed ERP. never mind...only someone like me finds it funny.
BUT FIRST, to congragulate all those who ran at Botanics yesterday. Last Girl's Champ was in 2002, when I was JC1. And then, 2008!!! I am so proud of the whole team.
- random: Josephine is my good study-buddy
Yesterday at lect on hip examination, i was so excited (adrenaline running through my blood)cos
1. Cameron, my church friend/junior Dr was helping to demonstrate for the Lecturer how to do a hip examination
2. I was sitting next to OWEN!!
3. Owen and I were passing messages throughout the lect........i miss this so so much, from jc/sec school.
4. the fact that I don't know him well......and one of the first few things he wrote down was, "do you have a bf?"............I was just so intrigued that he would ask such a question.....haha. Anyway, he's a good guy. Played table tennis with him during our break in the med students room at the hospital. He kept saying that since I was Asian, I shld play well.....sigh.
A lovely Bible verse
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:29-31
