so, this week, Dr P is on call. He is the reason i love neuro and chose to do it as my subspecialty. He is a newcastle grad too, so can fully understand where we are coming from(totally not knowing any neuroanatomy!!!) So today is a sat, but yesterday....my other fren doing neuro with me(C) asked him if he was coming in the weekend, and to sms us if he does(I was happy to take a break...but C had to bring it up!!) So this morn, i was awakened at 8.30am by an sms that said, " C U at ward G2 at 8.45am"....Wah lao....I was so 1@#$!@$$@. so I got up, went to hosp, parked at the doctor's parking lot.....haha....I was hoping saturday they don't check! then did a ward round with him. Pretty good to see the new patients. He asked where C was....before I could answer, he said, " why she is with a man , is she? she must been out late..." yarh man.....he is funnnny. Then another incident was when we were seeing a patient, overheard next door the nurse asking the patient what they wanted for lunch from the menu.
nurse: "for lunch, we have chicken and veg soup....."
Dr P: "that is enough to send someone home and make your own discharge from hosp"
hahahaha.
then, he bought me coffee. and we chatted for a bit. left hosp at 2pm after seeing a patient and studying.
going to run now(literally). then going to swim with C.
