the other day, really wanted to talk to pat. was going to wait for her call at 12pm. so the plan was to go for Dr Levy's operation(9.30am-11am) of the thyriod(thriod removal= thyriodectomy), then make up some reason to get out of the next few ops......BUT....i couldnt!!! assisting him was a retired snr surgeon, specialising in nexk surg. his same...DR sillar.....and all i could think of the whole time was prison break! if anyone has watched the latest season, its all about getting this card from the company, called sylla.....so....i am so engrossed with the word sillar.....haha. then, i could excape of the next op.....but it was pretty good. next op was a stone removal from the submandibular gland. Dr sillar taught me anat while operating, Dr levy taught me as well as the anaesthetist!!! 3 Drs all teaching me at once! i felt so loved:)
(yarh, its easy for me to feel loved....haha)
then, the biggest complement of the day was when the anesthetist asked if i was a consultant!!! HAHA.....welll....after he found out how bad my anatomy was, he took it all back. After he found out which uni i was from, he understood. yarh....my uni is reknowned for prodcing drs who dont know much anat. even our anat tutor said she would never see a dr from my uni!
BUT....having said that, cos we lack anat, we concentrte more on clinical work, which some ppl argue is more impt. anyways, i am just concerned with what is in the exam for the moment. and i know surg exam sure have anat. die larh:|
