tasmania pics

cataract gorge. ran here on the last day. stopped in the center of the park and fed some wallabys oats. the peacocks ate out of my hand. so the run turned into a feeding session for these wild animals
this is at Launceston, cataract gorge. only 5 in drive from the city. with hilda and daniel. it was raining. I gave hilda a raincoat. she took real long to put it on. I joked that by the time she got it on, it would have stopped raining. and i was right! here, no rain!
At Dr Hanson's house. Our GP invited us to his hse for dinner. met cute dog. 4got his name
taken by our tour guide- Lee
saying bye to our lovely host- Daniel Mo. his car in the backgd with so many soft tos won at arcade
this is the tasmania cool tropical forest we visited on the way to the limestone caves
Hilda and I on a lookout, enroute to cradle mountains. getting colder as the bus climbs higher
finally, after many many hours, we make it here. dove lake with cradle mountains behind. so happy for the unexpected snow!!
climbed to a tiny peak, which was to me rather dangerous cos of slippery snow and strong winds. i think its 1200m now
back at the bottom. its raining snow. very windy and cold

hobart- at bettery point, we found a heart shaped leaf. so asked Hilda to take a pic with it
at the limestone caves
posing with a snow-kangaroo. not built by us though
climbing with our tour gp up the snowy mt.

lovely cool forest. cold, cold water
