well, While i was eating my free lunch today, was thinking....this life will end with me being super fat. You see, even as med students, we get drug companies-sponsored lunches. Later on, it will be these buffets. so back to today, lovely sandwiches, massive, by the way. i just stuffed my face. Back in the other hosp, there was a spread of 10-15 diff types of sandwiches....yes, and i tried them all(at 1 sitting). Then, there is the coffee room, where morning biscuits are provided. Then there is educational morning breakfast talks, where pastry, donuts, pancakes. As students, every tutorial(thats twice a week) has food. we take turns bringing in food. one week, i baked choc brownies.....but only brought in half the tray, cos the other hald was finished by me even before it left the house.
So back to drug-companies...its 2 for the price of nothing! we get free food, and otehr freebies. today got free pen.....felt so paiseh taking them......cos didnt want to look too kaisu getting all excited abt free stuff.
sorry to all those out there who are jealous of my food-filled life.
