holiday spent in sydney

met up with stephen, james and ken for lunch. this is another lunch with stephen and ken at Burwood. Had yummy dumpling noodle soup.

Went for a run with ken. Oh, ken is stephen's bro who is a pilot for Air Asia....woah....anyway. after running with him (for the 1st 10min only. haha)we toured the olympic park area. this is supposed to be the practice track for the olympics. now converted to the only track in the area.they were having the state comp.

this was where track races were held. now pure rugby field.couldnt go in to take pics:( had to pay for a tour

I convinced Ken to drive me to the aquatic centre to have a look. We were laughing at these signs. Slow exit and slow lane. yes i am slow......

so this was where they had the swimming comp

i heard that the beijing water cube would be converted to a water theme park. so, the syd swimming aquatic centre also became a water theme park. you cant see that clearly, but at the back, there is a water slide

ken and I after our run. I took this of ken.....there were ducks swimming in the pond. he said:" why dont u catch a duck, and can take picture with it!" I then told the story of my Singaporean friend in Tasmania who told me that his friend one way invited him to eat peking duck at his house. He asked where the duck came from, answer was:"I caught it from the park!"

yeah.....ken said if malaysia had just as many ducks, every malaysian sure catch them to eat. haha
so me with the ducks(that i couldnt catch cos they were all in the water. darn!). this is at Bicentennial park, in olympic park grounds. Ran here with Ken.
